ROLE
The candidate will join the centralized algo trading team, focusing on providing optimal execution for both discretionary and systematic traders. The position involves researching market microstructure, particularly in futures and FX markets, and assisting in the design and implementation of trading strategies to ensure tailored execution for internal portfolio managers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research and enhance the in-house algo trading system through mathematical modeling and parameter optimization.
- Conduct quantitative research on market microstructure in futures and FX markets, leveraging insights to improve trading performance.
- Collaborate closely with traders, researchers and technology teams to design and implement effective trading strategy solutions.
- Monitor algo execution, simulating and analyzing algo behavior to optimize performance.
REQUIREMENTS
- Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in trade execution research or development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java and Python.
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards.
