About the Job: 

As a member of the Capco Technology Delivery Team, you’ll bring practical knowledge of agile development methodologies and engineering best practices. As an AI Governance Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will lead the development and implementation of governance frameworks that ensure the responsible and compliant use of AI technologies within our organization. This role requires a deep understanding of regulatory landscapes, ethical considerations, and organizational objectives, combined with a passion for driving accountability and trust in AI applications. 

What You’ll Get to Do: 

  • Design and implement comprehensive AI governance frameworks to ensure the ethical, transparent, and compliant use of AI/ML technologies. 
  • Align AI governance strategies with organizational objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. 
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, risk, and technical teams to establish policies, controls, and best practices for AI development and deployment. 
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with AI technologies, including bias, privacy, and security risks, while ensuring fairness and accountability. 
  • Monitor emerging regulatory trends and ensure proactive adaptation of governance policies to comply with evolving legal and ethical standards. 
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate stakeholders on AI governance principles, policies, and compliance requirements. 
  • Act as a key advisor to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations on governance-related challenges and opportunities. 
  • Oversee periodic audits and assessments of AI systems to validate adherence to governance standards and regulatory obligations. 

 

What You’ll Bring with You: 

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing governance frameworks, preferably in the context of AI or other advanced technologies. 
  • Strong knowledge of AI ethics, regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, AI Act, etc.), and industry best practices for responsible AI use. 
  • Ability to balance compliance with innovation, ensuring AI technologies align with business goals without compromising integrity. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Strong analytical skills to identify, assess, and address risks associated with AI systems. 
  • Familiarity with risk management, legal, and compliance frameworks in highly regulated industries is a plus. 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Ethics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications in governance, compliance, or AI ethics are an advantage.
