Our MASS (Multi-Asset Systematic Strategies) desk is seeking a Quantitative Developer to join their team in either New York or Palo Alto, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Building the industry-leading systematic trading infrastructure for futures and equities globally.
  • Working closely with the portfolio managers and assist implementing strategies.
  • Building next-generation execution infrastructure interfacing with firm’s execution systems.
  • Implementing real-time features needed for the strategy.
  • Achieve the highest reliability and resiliency standards through design, tooling, and observability optimizations.
  • Build strategy simulation infrastructure supporting a wide variety of strategies.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years experience at a multi-manager hedge fund or investment bank.
  • Prior experience working on a systematic trading desk.
  • Prior experience building real-time analytics and trading system components.
  • Prior experience building quantitative models and analytics.
  • Prior experience building the tech infrastructure surrounding observability, recovery, and other necessary tooling.
  • Broad understanding of equities and futures market structure and market data.
  • Expert-level programming skillset in Python is required. Experience with C++ is nice to have.

The annual base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $225,000, depending on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and relevant skill set. The position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.  In addition, DRW offers a comprehensive suite of employee benefits including group medical, pharmacy, dental and vision insurance, 401k (with discretionary employer match), short and long-term disability, life and AD&D insurance, health savings accounts, and flexible spending accounts.
