The Role

The Administrative Business Partner to the Chief Legal Officer (CLO) is a member of the Legal team, reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer.  This role will guide day-to-day operations and provide proactive and strategic administrative and programmatic support for the Chief Legal Officer, making time, information and decision processes more effective. The Administrative Business Partner will also provide ad hoc support to other senior leaders within the CLO organization. 

The person in this role will be a trusted partner and have the ability to exercise good judgment in a wide range of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain balance among multiple priorities. The role will be based out of our New York City headquarters office and will be required to follow our hybrid policy. Currently, hybrid team members report to the office weekly on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with the understanding that hybrid team members may be requested to be present at a physical Peloton location, in NYC or otherwise, based on team or business needs.

  • Manage complex, rapidly shifting calendars with minimal guidance and a high level of detail, making recommendations to organize and optimize time.
  • Ensure the executives’ time is aligned with their priorities through demonstrated understanding of the core business and by leveraging expert prioritization strategies.
  • Learn the executives’ preferred work style and find ways to enhance their efficiency and effectiveness. Increase the bandwidth of the executives by anticipating needs and taking ownership of planning, executing, alleviating bandwidth constraints, streamlining workflows, and delegating activities, creating an extra layer of accountability.
  • Complex end-to-end meeting management, including follow-up. 
  • End-to-end event planning and logistics, including all hands, summits, team events, and periodic business reviews.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, including managing on-the-ground logistics and ensuring well-designed itineraries.
  • Project management, including enforcing project timelines and holding teams accountable to action items and deliverables, and providing ad hoc support for other senior leaders of the team.
  • Draft internal announcements to key stakeholders on behalf of the function head; filter and cascade messages as needed.
  • Manage the department calendar and socialize with cross functional partners, as needed.
  • Prepare or review expense reports timely, execution of contingent worker contracts, vendor invoicing paperwork, and purchase requisitions, including monthly expense reconciliation and on-demand expense reports.
  • Foster an inclusive culture in partnership with the CLO Operations team by coordinating department org-wide activities.
  • Act as an extension of the executive by building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, cross-functional teams, vendors, agency partners, etc. 

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of work experience in a similar role, supporting C-level Executives.
  • Ability to have a flexible and adaptable schedule.
  • Highly organized and thoughtful with strong customer service skills.
  • Strong business sense and ability to decipher priorities and make sound judgment calls when needed.
  • Diligent, self-starter who uses emotional and cultural intelligence to intuit needs and can comfortably set boundaries to protect the executive’s time and priorities.
  • Experience prioritizing multiple projects, and the ability to pivot and respond to rapidly shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in end-to-end project management with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrates optimism, respects others and works well in a team environment.
  • Strong, concise and clear communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, ability to navigate ambiguity and handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
  • Must be highly competent with a range of modern communication tools (Zoom, Slack, etc.)
  • Strong technical capability with Google G Suite tools (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes. Base Salary Range

$122,700$159,400 USD
