As part of our Finance Team, our Accounting & Finance Analyst is a hybrid role that combines accounting and finance functions. In this position, you will manage key tasks, such as balance sheet reconciliations and month-end closing processes, while identifying cost-saving opportunities through financial analysis. You also are involved in value-add projects, focused on generating value and driving cost savings. What You'll be Responsible For:
Accounting Duties:

  • Manage month-end closing processes, including entries, accruals, and adjustments
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and expense allocations
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules
  • Oversee AP/AR transactions and employee reimbursements
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and monthly departmental reporting
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Assist with annual audits by preparing documentation and coordinating with auditors.
  • Assist in the development of internal controls and creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the role.


Financial Analysis Duties:

  • Perform financial planning and analysis (mostly related to procurement)
  • Perform cost analysis for effective purchasing decisions
  • Review, analyze, and control company procurement credit card usage
  • Oversee procurement process from requisition to payment
  • Assist in developing policies and procedures
  • Support the development of strong vendor relationships
  • Identify sourcing opportunities and collaborate with teams to negotiate improved terms with supply partners.


Value-Add Projects:

  • Participate in projects aimed at generating value and driving cost savings
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects to implement process improvements
  • Analyze data to recommend strategies for cost reduction
  • Support long-term financial and operational goals

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles; experience in procurement is a plus
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and adaptability to technology

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing priorities
