Your New Role Accountabilities...
CNN seeks an Account Executive to join CNN Audio's Revenue and Partnerships team.
Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Manage your sales pipeline and generate leads.
  • Generate new revenue opportunities and advertisers for the CNN Podcast Network
  • Manage new business opportunity from audio centric advertisers - both via brand direct partnerships and agencies.
  • Handle inbound leads and sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal Warner Brother Discovery Sales leads to help prioritize audio opportunities and act as the CNN audio subject matter expert.
  • Build a strong relationship with internal content partners to help better position our audio offering in the marketplace.


Qualifications & Experience...

  • 5-10 years in Audio Ad Sales preferred.
  • Strong passion for News, Sales, and Podcasts!
  • A team player who wants to be part of a team of a dynamic audio leadership team
  • A hunter mentality with a proven ability to generate new business.
  • Strong podcast advertiser relationships - both client direct and agency based. Specifically, we are looking for a sales leader who can tap into the top 100 Podcast Advertisers
  • Proficient with the sales cycle - and able to work independently

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $122,500.00 - $227,500.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
