Biz2X also reflects Biz2Credit’s emphasis on cross-functional collaboration. “Each team member brought their unique expertise and perspective to the project,” Senior Project Manager Ivy Li said.

Biz2X leverages automation and AI to help banks solve small business lending at scale. “We recognized that traditional approaches to lending were not meeting the needs of small businesses or consumers,” Traub said. With a streamlined platform, financial institutions can more effectively support their customers’ growth, and CPAs and regional banks can compete in the space. Behind the product was a transparent development process defined by progress check-ins, open communication and the celebration of milestones along the way. A shared commitment to the mission kept teams motivated and aligned.

Data Scientist Senior Manager

Li’s department played a critical role in developing Biz2X, especially its risk analysis functions. Her team analyzed data from historical financial statements, credit reports and other financial indicators to identify patterns and trends. With this analysis, they created models to assess borrowers’ creditworthiness and their chance of defaulting on loans in real time. Risk analysis is a core part of the platform, and Li and her team worked closely with developers to integrate their algorithms into the platform and the product team to create an intuitive user interface for the functions.

Our work reduces the likelihood of defaults and losses, which helps our clients be more successful.
