Zeta Global, an AI-powered marketing cloud company, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire LiveIntent. LiveIntent specializes in people-based marketing with a strong focus on mobile-centric experiences and first-party identity solutions using its proprietary technology. The company leverages an extensive identity graph to better identify, engage and monetize audiences across all channels.
Zeta Global’s strategic acquisition of LiveIntent is poised to significantly bolster Zeta’s identity resolution capabilities and expand its marketing solutions, the company said in a statement. The acquisition also enables Zeta to venture into the publisher monetization business through LiveIntent’s network of over 2,000 premium publishers. Zeta plans to introduce a new product offering, the Publisher Cloud, which the company expects to create a closed-loop ecosystem aimed at extending Zeta’s reach and targeting capabilities.
The $250 million deal will be in the form of $77.5 million in cash and $172.5 million in common stock at closing. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2024, pending customary closing conditions.
