New York-based Tracera, an AI-powered platform that helps companies automate sustainability reporting and reduce costs, has raised $12 million in a Series A funding round led by Foundry, with participation from Rho Ignition, Tola Capital and Contour Venture Partners.

According to a news release, the funding follows the launch of Tracera’s new Scope 3 emissions tool, which collects and analyzes supplier-specific data to help companies better understand and reduce their carbon footprint.

“We’re revolutionizing the way businesses see growth — providing that sustainable growth and financial success are one and the same. The untapped power of sustainability data has the potential to transform business, uncover inefficiencies, drive competitive edge and position you to lead in an increasingly fierce market,” Tracera CEO Patrick Obeid said in a statement.

Founded in 2023, Tracera has now raised $17.25 million to date and counts EnerSys and La-Z-Boy Incorporated among its customers.
