Zipari raises $7 million
This week, Brooklyn-based insurance software startup Zipari scored a $7 million Series A. The financing was led by Vertical Venture Partners. The new capital will allow the company to expand on its ability to address insurance carriers’ need for analytics as well as highly customized CRM solutions. [PE Hub]
Common opens its largest house, moves away from coliving
On Monday, Brooklyn-based coliving startup Common announced it will be opening its newest and largest home yet in Boerum Hill. The house, dubbed Common Baltic, will house over 135 members in coliving suites, as well as 67 studio and one-bedroom apartments. [Technically Brooklyn]
Managed by Q raises $30 million
Managed by Q officially landed a $30 million Series C this week. The company’s SEC filing doesn’t disclose who invested in the round, but according to a source, the investment came from both new and existing investors, which includes GV, Gary Vaynerchuk, Fabrice Grinda, Jessica Alba and Greycroft Ventures. The funding will go toward expanding the company’s marketplace and technology platform. [TechCrunch]
Dynamic Yield scores $22 million
On Wednesday, Dynamic Yield, a startup that provides tools to companies to deliver more personalized online experiences, raised a $22 million Series C. The new round was led by Vertex and ClalTech, with participation from Baidu and Global Founders Capital, as well as previous backers Bessemer Venture Partners, Marker LLP and Innovation Endeavors.
