ShelterZoom creates tech-enabled tools for buying and selling real estate, and now it’s partnering with one of the biggest names in the industry: Berkshire Hathaway.
On Tuesday, ShelterZoom announced its new partnership with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Professional Realty. BHHS Pro is a real estate brokerage that manages over $1 billion in annual sales. This partnership will give ShelterZoom access to BHHS Pro’s base of customers, while providing BHHS with a digital platform for buying and selling real estate.
ShelterZoom’s platform is powered by blockchain, helping ensure the validity of important financial documents. But the platform is also built to handle contracts. Buying and selling real estate is an especially paperwork-heavy process, which is why having a digital platform is such a boon. It allows buyers and sellers to keep track of contracts throughout their lifetime and deliver them back and forth for signing.

It’s a truly innovative product that resolves many of the hurdles that slow down the transaction process and make it frustrating for agents and buyers alike,” David Mussari, Managing Partner at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Professional Realty, said in a statement.
This partnership will also help ShelterZoom tap into the Ohio market, which is a “key state” in the company’s growth plans.
Along with the new partnership, ShelterZoom has recruited Dan Donovan to lead business development in government and legal spaces. Donovan is a former congressman and district attorney for New York state. He will be responsible for new partnerships and revenue growth in 2020.
