Rokt, an e-commerce technology company, has announced a $17.6 million investment to expand its headquarters in New York City. The company will lease an additional 34,000 square feet of space at 175 Varick St., occupying a total of more than 100,000 square feet in the building.
The new space will be renovated to serve as an R&D hub, where Rokt plans to invest $100 million in developing e-commerce software solutions over the next five years. With this expansion, the company plans to create at least 386 new jobs and retain its existing 300 full-time roles in New York City.
Rokt’s e-commerce solution leverages machine learning and AI to present highly relevant offers to each shopper in the final stages of an online transaction. Its platform works to help companies tap additional revenues, acquire advertising customers at scale and deepen existing customer relationships.
