Updater raised $215M. With aims to make moving a breeze, the Updater app helps users set up internet, TV and utilities in their new house. The platform also helps users hire movers, forward mail, purchase moving supplies and shop for home and renters insurance. Unit snagged $100M. After raising a $100 million Series C round, Unit, a banking-as-a-service startup, reached a $1.2 billion valuation. The round, led by Insight Partners, follows Unit’s $51 million Series B raise announced last June. [TechCrunch]
Fetcher pulled in $27M. Recruiting automation platform Fetcher pulled in $27 million in a Series B funding round led by Tola Capital. Sustain.Life secured $16M. With a focus on helping small-to-medium-sized businesses monitor their carbon footprints, Sustain.Life secured $16 million in seed funding from Tapestry VC and Sustain.Life co-founder Mike Hanrahan. HowGood raised a $12.5M seed round. Greentech SaaS platform HowGood raised $12.5 million last week in a seed funding round led by Titan Grove. The startup’s technology allows food brands and retailers to view the environmental impact of using a particular ingredient. With the raise, HowGood plans to triple its team size and expand its database offerings. [VentureBeat]
RAIN pulled in $11M. RAIN, a producer of artificial intelligence-backed voice assistant technology, pulled in $11 million in funding from Valor Capital, McLarty Diversified Holdings and Burch Creative Capital. The raise brings the startup’s total funding to $15 million. RAIN plans to use its fresh funds to build voice-first products for deskless workers. [New Mediawire]
Oviva Therapeutics raked in $11.5M. Fueled by a mission to slow ovarian aging and focus on women’s health, Oviva Therapeutics raked in $11.5 million in a seed funding round from Cambrian BioPharma. With its recent raise, the startup plans to submit an investigational new drug application to the Food and Drug Administration. If and when approved, the startup will be allowed to administer its first hormone-backed, therapeutic program that focuses on ovarian aging. [Built In NYC]
