New York's tech scene is on fire. In addition to the multitudes of tech companies that already call New York City home, tech companies from around the world are choosing the city as the location for their next offices.

It's as good a time as any to get in on the action, and here are five companies on the hiring warpath.

What they do: Yext is a global location data management company.

Why you want to work here: Yext employees get traditional perks like good benefits, competitive compensation and a 401(K), but then they also get the fun stuff. They enjoy a daily meal allowance, flexible hours and paid time off. Their offices feature a game room, and every Friday they order in pizza and drink beer. That's not to say they don't also take care of themselves: employees have their gym memberships reimbursed while drinking company-provided cold-pressed juices.

Insider note: "Candidates that thrive at Yext are smart, driven and love to collaborate, supporting our customers in a cool, fun environment." — Skip Shipper, Chief People Officer at Yext

What they do: Button connects apps with other apps. Crazy, right?

Why you want to work there: Button employees get some pretty innovative perks. There is an annual vacation allotment (up to $1,000) to use while enjoying an unlimited paid time off policy. They have their lunch provided daily (which they can eat on the company's rooftop deck), and get a monthly stipend for testing out on-demand services. Also, if you're planning on making/adopting a little human, the company gives all parents 17 weeks of paid parental leave.

Note from the boss: "At Button we not only look for candidates who demonstrate expertise in their field and an entrepreneurial spirit, but someone who also fits within our culture. We have been tremendously fortunate to attract folks that represent the best in their respective areas of focus, but, more importantly, people that we want to be with every day. That is what sets Button's culture apart." — Michael Jaconi, CEO and Co-founder of Button

What they do: Yieldbot makes technology that creates marketplaces for advertisers to target consumer intentions in real-time.

Why you want to work here: Yieldbot employees enjoy paid vacation, a stellar benefit plan and competitive compensation. They also get to work as part of a close-knit, collaborative team that works hard and fast.

What they do: Intersection works with governments, citizens and brands to use technology to improve life in cities around the world. You know the LinkNYC initiative that’s transforming New York’s old pay phones from unsanctioned urinals into Wi-Fi hotspots? That was Intersection.

Why you want to work here: What, changing the way people interact with their cities isn’t enough for you? Well, you're in luck, because although Intersection is owned indirectly by Alphabet, the company retained a really fun startup vibe. For example, if a developer learns something new, they’re awarded a ‘Lab Coat of Learn’ award. If an employee goes above and beyond, they win a ‘Trophy of Win.’ No joke.

What they do: OrderGroove runs a SaaS subscription enablement platform used by some of the biggest companies in the world — like Walmart and L’Oreal big.

Why you want to work here: Employees at OrderGroove get a competitive salary, stock options, good insurance, unlimited paid vacation, a 401(K) and a fun office with a coffee and snack bar. Oh, and are you ready for this? They also have a beer and wine cart! How cool is that?
