Ampersand, a provider of multiscreen advertising solutions, has appointed Mike Dean as its new president, effective February 5. Dean, who brings ample experience in advanced TV and video advertising, will lead Ampersand in its mission to make it easier for advertisers to plan, buy and measure data-driven multiscreen television at scale.
Dean will work with the Ampersand leadership team to fully leverage the company’s assets, including a large share of multiscreen television inventory and a substantial set of data insights. Before joining Ampersand, Dean led the ad sales practice at Deloitte’s technology, media and telecommunications sector.
In addition to Dean’s appointment, Ampersand named Ethan Heftman its chief revenue officer. Heftman, an advertising sales executive, will lead all sales and revenue-driving functions across Ampersand. Before his time as CRO, Heftman served as Ampersand’s SVP of agency sales, leading sales strategy and execution for agency holding companies and their advertisers.
