Members-Only Club for the Web3 Community Coming to NYC

Members of CLUB 3 can gather at physical locations situated in the world’s largest cities to enjoy perks and events.

From cryptocurrency and blockchain to NFTs and decentralized social networks, the Web3 industry has no shortage of modern tech innovations. The global market for this industry is projected to reach a $23.3 billion value by 2028 as the space continues to see rapid growth. As more people partake in the evolution of the internet, the Web3 community has come to include individuals from across the globe.

These like-minded folks will soon have a place to gather in real life with the launch of CLUB 3, an exclusive, members-only club for people involved in the Web3, NFT and open metaverse industries. Aiming to build a global membership base, the club’s first location will open in Los Angeles later this year. Additional locations are expected to open in New York and other large cities like Miami, Tokyo, London, Paris and Hong Kong, according to Meta Hollywood, the company behind CLUB 3.

The first CLUB 3 will open in the heart of LA’s Sunset Boulevard. The 10,000-square-foot facility will offer members an array of hospitality features, including a main dining room, a rooftop restaurant, several bars and a cocktail lounge. Additionally, the space will encompass elements like meeting rooms and karaoke rooms, Meta Hollywood said in a release.

On top of creating a comfortable setting for its members, CLUB 3 will also offer in-person and virtual experiences such as industry events, community meetups, talks, experiences, seminars and Q&A sessions, according to the release. CLUB 3 will also incorporate Web3 mechanics into club operations, like community voting on seasonal menus and collaborative promotions for NFT projects and membership holders.

CLUB 3 will offer four memberships — founding, social, global and corporate. Each membership will include access to various amenities and perks. Members will also be able to converse with one another via CLUB 3’s community chat. Memberships are available as mintable NFTs.

“CLUB 3 will foster and galvanize the broader Web3 community and serve as a launchpad for those wanting to learn more about this new world,” Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands, one of the companies behind Meta Hollywood, said in a statement. “Members will interact within the club’s numerous facility perks and experience what Meta Hollywood can offer. With this project, communities across the Animoca Brands ecosystem will have access to new possibilities.”

Meta Hollywood aims to be a community-first ecosystem for entertainment fans and creators. The platform offers exclusive access and utility to more than 60,000 movie memorabilia items, Hollywood intellectual property and more, according to the release. It also strives to help creators monetize their work in both traditional and tokenized economies within a decentralized autonomous organization, or DAO, for its community.

Meta Hollywood is the joint venture of Animoca Brands and Planet Hollywood. Animoca Brands specializes in digital entertainment, blockchain and gamification as it works to help establish the open metaverse. The software and venture capital company develops products like utility tokens and original games. Planet Hollywood is a consumer brand built upon the appeal of movies, TV, music and other entertainment activities. The company operates businesses like restaurants, hotels and retail shops that highlight its expansive collection of Hollywood memorabilia. The collection includes items such as props and costumes featured in blockbuster films like Star Wars and The Terminator.
