Remote work offers immense levels of flexibility. One of the most popular perks of the work style is the ability to clock in from anywhere in the world. On the downside however, remote workers have reported feeling lonely and isolated from their co-workers, which can take a strong toll on employees’ mental health.

Freelance talent marketplace Fiverr is aiming to combat the cons of remote work through a partnership with London-based Selina, a global experiential hospitality and coworking startup.

The partnership, announced on Thursday, is in place to help remote workers, or anywhere workers, connect in real life through in-person events and meetups at Selina locations. Through the partnership, both Fiverr and Selina hope remote workers are able to combat loneliness.

“While being an Anywhere Worker has numerous benefits including having autonomy and flexibility over one’s worklife, it still has its challenges such as lack of community and a sense of belonging,” Fiverr CMO Gali Arnon said in a statement. “Building, growing and establishing a vibrant and engaging community is at the heart of everything we do at Fiverr. We are thrilled to be partnering with a company like Selina who has the physical space around the globe to help us address this issue head on. Together, through a variety of different engagement mechanisms, it’s our goal to bring this Anywhere Worker community together to learn, to grow and to ultimately thrive.”

In addition to announcing the partnership, the companies also launched a “Work from Anywhere contest.” Fiverr freelancers who win the contest will be allowed to stay at a Selina location of their choosing for a roughly month-long stay for three to four weeks. Selina has hospitality and co-working spaces in over 100 destinations.

“From inception, Selina has built its mission on fostering meaningful and authentic connections, and we believe nurturing these connections helps to address the growing struggle of loneliness,” Selina Global CMO Elad Nir said in a statement. “Our active global coworking community has shown us that remote work does not have to be isolating, and we are thrilled to be partnering with Fiverr and welcoming their anywhere workers into our network of 100+ destinations worldwide. The Selina experience is carefully designed to bring a sense of community to today’s digital nomad, travelers, and locals alike.”

In addition to establishing a partnership, both Fiverr and Selina are hiring. Fiverr, which is based in New York, has nearly 100 open roles,. Selina has over 400 global job openings.
