DoorDash to acquire Bbot. Food and good delivery service DoorDash announced it has entered a definitive agreement to acquire Bbot. New York-based Bbot provides an in-store digital ordering solution for hospitality businesses to improve guest experiences and their bottom line. Nayya Health raised $55M. Nayya Health helps employees choose their benefits through a personalization platform. The company raised $55 million in a Series C financing round led by ICONIQ Growth with participation from Transformation Capital and others. Along with the investment, Mike Dixon from Transformation Capital joined Nayya as a board observer. Lili is on a hiring spree. Lili is a finance and banking platform specifically for freelance workers. The company had a successful 2021 during which it raised a $55 million Series B round and grew both its user base and internal team. Google sets a return to office date. Google’s parent company Alphabet Inc. announced that New York City workers will return to the office on April 4. The announcement applies to the company’s NYC, San Francisco and other U.S. locations. During March, employees will work a hybrid model with two days remotely and three at the office. MyPlace raised $5.8M. MyPlace is an invite-only social platform allowing people to rent their property. MyPlace raised a $5.8 million preempted seed round led by Freestyle Ventures that will be used to hire new employees and launch an app. The platform is used in 86 countries and is actively growing, with a current waitlist of over 7,500 people.
