Pecan gained $66M. Pecan provides companies with low-code AI data analytics, specifically within the retail, fintech and mobile apps industries. Pecan raised a $66 million Series C round co-led by Insight Partners and GV. The funding will allow the company to scale its platform, expand its global reach and double its employee headcount over the year with several roles currently open. [Built In NYC]
Lunchbox got $50M. Lunchbox can integrate marketing, loyalty programs and order services with its online ordering platform for restaurants. Lunchbox raised $50 million which will allow the company to partner with more restaurants and hire across several teams, including engineering, marketing and talent. [Built In NYC]
NYC TECH QUOTE OF THE WEEK
Torii gained $50M. The New York-based startup gained $50 million in a Series B round led by Tiger Global. Torii aims to automate SaaS management for IT and finance teams while also protecting sensitive data. The Series B will go toward growing its teams in the U.S., as well as in Israel, and innovating its platform. [Built In NYC]
Waldo raised $15M. Waldo provides developers with an automated, no code dashboard to test their mobile apps. Usually, developers have to perform the testing manually with multiple rewritten scripts but Waldo eliminates that process. The company raised $15 million in a Series A round led by Insight Partners with participation from other investors. The Series A will be invested in the company’s go-to-market strategy with plans to expand its team. [TechCrunch]
Vendelux got $2.4M. Vendelux developed the Event Intelligence Platform helping marketers make decisions based off data received from event attendance, hosting and sponsorship. Vendelux raised $2.4 million in seed capital financing that will go toward developing its platform and growing its team. [PR Newswire]
Vestwell hired a new executive. Vestwell helps workplaces manage and administer investing programs, such as 401(k) plans, through its cloud-based platform. Vestwell announced it appointed Michelle Tran as SVP and head of enterprise sales. Tran is the co-founder of NYC-based Fintech Women and brings experience from both startups and institutions. Vestwell is currently looking to add more talent to its teams. [Vestwell]
Botify expanded its leadership team. Botify uses an SEO management solution to help brands turn organic searches into measurable channels for traffic and revenue growth. Botify announced two new members to its executive team. Robert Rothschild was appointed as chief marketing officer and Angela Newman was appointed as SVP of legal. Botify will continue its growth by doubling its employee headcount over the next two years, with several positions currently open. [Botify]
