The Role
You will lead the analysis of our media performance data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights. You'll play a crucial role in providing strategic insights and recommendations to optimize media performance and optimize our growth and margins.
The ideal candidate is someone who will have a strong background in business analytics, the ability to create powerful narratives that communicate complex findings to senior leaders, and a deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze media performance data, including impressions, clicks, conversions, and other key metrics, to access performance across various media products, advertisers, and publisher/placement types
- Identify areas for improvement and media optimization strategies based on these analyses; transform insights into compelling narratives for Executive audiences
- Generate regular reports and dashboards to track KPIs and communicate performance to business teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Biz Dev, Product, Marketing, and Pricing, to conduct deep dives on our business for internal and external publication
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to answer specific business questions and determine root cause of anomalies in our business trends
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality, reporting accuracy, and analytical capabilities
Qualifications
- Proven data analysis skills with a minimum of 4 years of experience within an analytics function, ideally with 1-2 years of experience in media agencies or high-growth adtech companies
- Deep understanding of online media and advertising metrics
- Experience in analyzing large datasets to develop insights with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to guide and influence senior leadership
- Advanced Excel / G-suite skills
- Advanced database analytics skills (e.g., SQL) and expertise with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Statistics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
*Compensation Range: $110,000 - $145,000

*This range represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of adMarketplace in the New York office. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience; training; associated responsibilities; and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
