The Global Digital Services, Strategy & Advancement is seeking a highly experienced Senior Scrum Master to join Planning and Delivery team. This role will play a pivotal role in influencing organizational change by guiding the coordination, synchronization and alignment of value streams delivering large-solution value.
Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee delivery across portfolios, in partnership with Portfolio Product Owners to optimize delivery with high quality outcomes that are aligned to organizational goals
  • Apply systems thinking to streamline value delivery
  • Drive usage of data and metrics to balance product delivery and engineering excellence
  • Facilitate at scale to enable effective collaboration, communication and alignment among portfolio teams and stakeholders
  • Build consistent governance and delivery processes to increase velocity
  • Drive consistent planning and delivery processes by coordinating, aligning and orchestrating the work of a collection of teams
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and transparency, enabling effective communication and information sharing among cross-functional teams and stakeholder
  • Maturity of organizational agility; optimization of how we delivery across value streams
  • Define assessment models and indicators to assess the health and effectiveness of value streams and drive improves that enhance efficiency and effectiveness


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and 7+ years of IT/program management/leadership experience working in agile teams, including responsibilities such as RTE, Agile Coach, or Program Manager
  • Knowledge/training equivalent to at least one advanced certification from a reputable Lean/agile organization preferred (Scrum.org SPS, SAFe SPC, SAFe RTE, ICAgile Professional ICP-ATF, ICAgile Professional ICP-ACC, Project Management Institute PMI-ACP)
  • Strong proficiency of Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban), Lean-Agile frameworks and Agile project management concepts, practices, and techniques
  • Scrum Master certification required; CSM, SSM, PSM, SASM, etc.
  • Strong proficiency with Agile tools (Jira), experience with CI/CD tools is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience in having positively contributed to enterprise-wide, organization changes
  • Technology and Cybersecurity knowledge and experience preferred
  • Requires solid project management skills, ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong communication, facilitation, presentation and consensus/majority building skills
  • Ability to influence without having organizational authority
  • Have a passion for continuous improvement, bringing innovative thinking to your role, and helping evolve the organizations practices and tools
  • Must be an excellent team player, coach, mentor, and collaborator
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, across diverse systems and groups
  • Must be self-motivated, creative, and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems

  • Surfaces & works with key stakeholders to address anti-patterns that impede organizational agility
  • Drive program level data-driven continuous improvement through focused qualitative and quantitative retrospection
