TITLE: Manager, Business Planning, Marketing Business Planning
LOCATION: Stamford, Connecticut
JOB SUMMARY: Perform financial reporting and analysis. Support budget and forecast functions, modeling, reporting, and analysis. Act as a liaison to the Business Planning team in support of monthly financial reporting summaries and forecast trends by comparing various workforce metrics and estimating the impact to Charter's financial statements resulting from flexibility required to run the company's call centers. Utilize Essbase forecasting system to report and compare prior staffing plans to current business needs based on metric adjustments, and provide reporting and target setting pertaining to compensation to business unit managers. Maintain analysis and comparisons of drivers to compare prior period and future impacts. Prepare business models and present findings at workforce meetings, advising business stakeholders on expected changes and expenses related to Charter's call center workforce. Develop salary KPIs metrics and models that include the impact of overtime in workforce expenditures.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Business Planning, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; 4 years of experience: working in business planning, finance, or accounting field; and developing models for business forecasting, financial modeling, and business reporting packages using Excel; 3 years of experience performing variance reporting for senior management, to verify accuracy of numbers and to create high-level reports for budget decks, using one of the following or a combination of Essbase, Salesforce, or Excel; and utilizing SAP General ledger system, or other ledger tools, including JE Edwards, Oracle, or General Ledger account codes to analyze actuals verses forecasted expense; 2 years of experience developing KPI metrics and using KPI metrics for budgeting business models; and in telecommunications industry.
