The Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and visionary Head of Client Solutions.  As the Head of Client Solutions, you will play a crucial role in defining the product vision, roadmap, and overall strategy to drive growth and innovation in the electronic bonds trading space.

How You’ll Help Take Us There 

  • Lead the Client Solutions product management team in defining and executing the product roadmap.
  • Develop high quality business strategies and quarterly business plans, ensuring alignment with short-term and long-term objectives. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, research, and sales to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team.
  • Define and prioritize product requirements based on customer feedback and market trends.
  • Drive product innovation and differentiation to maintain a competitive edge in the electronic bonds trading market.
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and customers to gather feedback and insights for product development.
  • Monitor and analyze key product metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to inform product strategy and decision making.
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and industry.
  • Represent MarketAxess externally on panels, at conferences and in white papers.

What We’re Looking for  

  • 15+ years working within the fixed income domain 
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the financial technology (fintech) industry Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products and owning a P&L
  • Deep understanding of the competitive e-trading landscape and electronic trading protocols
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams
  • Motivated by changing the behavior in global bond markets and must be able to articulate a vision for electronic trading
  • Experience working with agile development methodologies and tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Self-motivated and quick to respond to business challenges
  • Strong communicator with excellent client facing ability
  • Resilient, optimistic and a change agent – doesn’t accept the status quo
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $275,000 USD to $325,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
