The Team You Will Join is Investments Technology Global Strategy & Planning (GS&P).
The Opportunity
This role will provide an opportunity for a graduate of the 2024 Spring DSY Program to work in the Investments Technology organization from July 8, 2024 through August 16, 2024.
The summer DSY intern is responsible for:
*Writing drafts and providing editorial reviews for leadership messages (i.e., organizational announcements, project updates, event invites)
* Creating new presentations and update existing slides using PowerPoint
* Writing and posting messages to internal communication platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Viva Engage and SharePoint
* Develoing employee surveys and polls using different tools, analyzing data and reporting out on results
* Assisting with the planning of an organization event for the CIO or member of the leadership team
* Partnering with the DEI Committee on an employee engagement activity (fun social or volunteer event)
Responsibilities will provide the DSY intern a flavor of the many deliverables within Business Strategy & Planning as well as highlight communication, project management and collaboration skills. The MetLife Investents Technology GS&P team embraces diverse perspectives, fresh ideas and having fun. We encourage active listening and welcome a curious mind.
Skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel and the willingness to listen, learn, ask questions, be creative, communicate effectively and actively engage with manager and team members.
Hours: 25-30 hours/week
Work Schedule: 9am - 2pm or 3pm (5-6 hours per day) Eastern
Hybrid Schedule as follows, with flexibility available on in person days:
Remote: Wednesday and Friday
In Person: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
The salary range for applicants for this position is $18-20 per hour.
