JOB SCOPE
Responsible for managing contractual compliance for Charter's video programming contracts with cable networks, regional sports networks, and transactional VOD providers. This position requires financial background and ability to analyze and interpret contractual language and identify key contractual requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES

  • Manages the contract lifecycle process
  • Serve as key contact to numerous Corporate departments (Accounting, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Programming Acquisition, etc.) for all Programming contract related inquiries
  • Update and maintain share-drive with contracts, notices, correspondence, DOA approvals, etc.
  • Analyze all new contracts/agreements/amendments for meaningful term changes; Update and maintain contract management platform with all obligations, rights, financial information, key dates, etc.
  • Build and maintain automated reporting within the contract management platform to provide business units with key information; monitor approval workflow process, ensuring review deadlines are met
  • Project manage all Programming related audits; Programmers audits of Charter; Charter's audit of Programmers; correspond with Legal and Accounting to execute NDAs and data extraction; work with Programming, Accounting, and Legal to validate audits and settle with Programmers, where applicable
  • Help identify any gaps or inefficiencies in current reporting or record-keeping practices and propose solutions
  • Project manage the request, receipt, and tracking of FCC required quarterly and annual Regulatory certifications
  • Request, track, and maintain Programmer MFN certifications
  • Performs other duties as requested by supervisor


BASIC / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum three (3) years of Project Management experience
  • Minimum three (3) years of Finance experience.
