Chances are you’ve interacted with marketing tech service Yotpo in one way or another. Maybe you’ve used the platform to review a brand’s product on social media, or perhaps you vaguely remember seeing a group of people in Yotpo t-shirts running around Manhattan.
With $51 million in recent funding and a new office in Salt Lake City, the startup is about to get even bigger. The already-global company is continuing to expand, and it’s hiring marketers to drive that growth.

“E-commerce is a global industry, and Yotpo is expanding to meet market demand,” said Cristina Dinozo, senior director of marketing communication. "Marketers are critical to ensuring we deliver the right messages to the right audiences via the right programs on a local level. The more boots on the ground we have, the more effective we'll be."
Yotpo currently has about 300 employees working out of its offices in NYC, Tel Aviv, Salt Lake City and London. Its clients include e-commerce giants UNTUCKit, Brooklinen, Away and others, and its partnerships are equally star-studded — it works with companies like Google, Facebook, Shopify and Salesforce to determine where, when and how people shop.
But it couldn’t always name-drop like this. The company was founded in 2011 and has exploded in growth over the past year. In 2017 alone, it hired 20 sales professionals in a matter of 44 days — and many of those positions opened up because current employees were promoted to other roles.

Similarly, there’s major potential for growth on the marketing team, which Dinozo describes as “fresh and gritty.”
Team Halloween costumes, scavenger hunts and volunteering activities are common at Yotpo, and every new employee is assigned a mentor.
“There’s a widespread feeling of personal empowerment and shared camaraderie at Yotpo that’s rare for even the scrappiest of startups,” she said.

The company is currently looking for consummate modern marketers with solid writing and communication skills, the ability to creatively solve problems and a passion for data.
“In terms of personal qualities,” she said, “if their spirit is bold and beautiful, young and restless, they’d be a great culture fit!”
