Sure, Serial was great, but now what? If you've developed an insatiable appetite for quality podcasts, it turns out you're in luck — there are a ton of them. We rounded up our five favorite, tech-themed podcasts for your listening pleasure. They may not all be for you, but we're pretty sure you'll be able to find at least one that will keep you entertained on your train ride home tonight. Enjoy.

Note To Self

Note To Self is put out by WNYC, New York’s flagship public radio station based in Soho. Episodes are generally between 10 and 25 minutes and typically answer some sort of tech question. For example, a recent episode answered the question of how much it would take to hack your life, and whether or not you should put a Post-It over your laptop’s camera. Important stuff.

StartUp

StartUp is kind of a no brainer. The wildly popular podcast chronicles the launch of Gimlet Media from the perspective of its CEO and founder, Alex Blumberg (think Planet Money). If you fancy yourself an entrepreneur, this is kind of a must-listen.

Internet Explorer

BuzzFeed’s Internet Explorer podcast explores all the weird stuff you’ll find on your browser. The content tends to be what you’d expect from BuzzFeed, with episodes titles like ‘The Internet’s Weirdest Catfish is Back.’ It’s pretty much guaranteed to keep you entertained on your subway ride home.

Reply All

Reply All is a podcast about the internet that boasts around 2 million monthly downloads. The show has some impressive people working on it, including staff from Radiolab, The Economist and Slate. They tend to find odd-ball, human interest stories and examine them in-depth. For example, their most recent episode explores the world’s breast milk markets. No joke.

WSJ Tech News Briefing

The Wall Street Journal’s Tech News Briefing is pretty much what it sounds like — a daily briefing on everything you need to know about tech from the WSJ’s perspective. Of all the podcasts listed here, this is by far the most ‘newsy’, though they still answer questions like ‘Would You Get Healthy for a Shiny New Apple Watch?’ The answer to which, is an absolute yes.
