Chances are high that you don’t notice what goes on behind the scenes to keep your workplace running smoothly until something’s not working properly. Office management company Managed by Q just added $25 million to its Series C funding to keep you blissfully ignorant.
Since they launched in 2013, the platform has connected companies with services for cleaning, IT support, security and office administration — and they’ve proven their value. Just last year alone, more than 30 of their partners earned more than $100,000 by working with them.
We want to build the first set of collaboration tools for the workplace team, the same way that designers use InVision and engineers use GitHub and salespeople use Salesforce.”
According to news CEO Dan Teran shared with TechCrunch, the goal for the coming year is to double down on their efforts to provide even more value for partners.
“We want to spend 2019 putting even greater focus on the tools used by our vendors and workplace management teams, like task management tools,” he said. “We want to build the first set of collaboration tools for the workplace team, the same way that designers use InVision and engineers use GitHub and salespeople use Salesforce. Something purposely built for the workplace team.”
The round, which was first announced in December 2016, was led by RRE and Google Ventures, with participation from DivCo West, Oxford Properties and others. This brings the company’s total funding amount to $97.4 million.
