Job Description
FreeWheel is seeking a skilled Demand Activation Manager to join our team. This role requires a proactive and strategic individual contributor to drive programmatic sales efforts and activation strategies. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as sales, operations, product, and engineering. External communication with FreeWheel's buyside and supply side partners will be integral for delivering exceptional client outcomes.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and execute programmatic sales strategies to meet and exceed client objectives and drive the success of demand activation efforts across FreeWheel's marketplace products.
- Optimize campaigns for maximum performance and ROI using data analytics and industry insights and provide strategic recommendations to enhance campaign delivery.
- Collaborate with FreeWheel's publisher partners and account teams to align supply with FreeWheel's demand, fostering effective partnerships and maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Support the development of FreeWheel core products and features that will be leveraged by the demand sales team, bringing value to agency, brand, and DSP partners.
- Identify and expand on the development of new go-to-market sales strategies to strengthen FreeWheel's market position and increase revenue.
- Uncover areas of opportunity to unlock marketplace liquidity across our core programmatic offerings, contributing to improved marketplace performance.
- Support the demand sales team in the development of programmatic deals, leading to optimal delivery and successful outcomes for our buying customers.
- Work closely with FreeWheel's engineering and product teams to provide input on product development and enhancements, ensuring solutions are built with demand activation goals in mind.
- Analyze and address problem areas or areas of improvement within our tech infrastructure to support the growth and success of the demand activation team.
- Explore and implement new sales strategies and methodologies to ensure the best approach for successful programmatic campaign launches across existing and new offerings.
- Collaborate with other functions such as Comcast Advertising, Beeswax, and AudienceXpress to identify areas of collaboration and improvement, expanding digital dollars eligible to run via programmatic supply.
- Establish clear objectives and accountability measures for the demand activation team, leveraging accurate data inputs to monitor and achieve individual and team goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in programmatic advertising, sales, or data analytics.
- Deep understanding of television advertising, programmatic sales, and digital advertising landscapes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills including proficiency with Excel (Looker experience also preferred), with the ability to identify and articulate key business trends and insights
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead effective meetings and presentations with sales and senior leadership as needed
- Team-player with cross-functional team experience and ability to provide excellent service to internal customers - including sales, product, and operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $133,282.24 - $199,923.36
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
Targeted Commission: $57,857
Our sales compensation programs offer the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets.
