DipJar — a New York-based startup that enables cashless generosity with the world’s first tip jar and collection box for credit cards — is seeking a full-time Vice President of Sales. The VP will develop DipJar’s go-to-market strategy, design and implement a conversion pipeline and salesperson incentive structure, and build an effective sales team.
As a core team member, the VP of Sales will work closely with DipJar’s co-founders and product and engineering leaders to build and execute a sales strategy in line with DipJar’s vision and business objectives. Duties will encompass inside sales, lead generation (in partnership with marketing), channel partnerships, and key account management.
The person in this role should have an entrepreneurial spirit and significant expertise in B2B sales, with specific experience in the QSR and/or payments industries a plus.
Responsibilities:
Create and execute DipJar’s long-term sales strategy (QSR, nonprofit, and other segments)
Work with marketing team to develop lead-generation efforts and track KPIs
Hire, oversee, and performance-manage a stable of salespeople
Develop key account and channel partnership strategies
Measure and refine setting and reaching of sales goals
Minimum Hiring Requirements:
7+ years experience in sales role, with QSR and payments expertise a major plus
BA/BS degree
