We’re looking for a Continuous Improvement Data Analyst to join our growing Continuous Improvement Team.

As a CI Data Analyst you will collect data, analyze it, and propose ways to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality throughout the organization. Our ideal candidate will help us identify areas of opportunity in our organization's procedures, systems, and workflows. operational procedures for all Collectors sites. You will be partnering with teams across all tech and operational functions, including the learning team, engineering, product management, procurement and operational experts at all levels. Additionally you will manage a team of operational liaisons for departments across Collectors business functions and third party vendors.

The CI Data Analyst will pinpoint areas needing enhancement in our organization's procedures, systems, and workflows. This position entails working with different departments to dissect the data and propose ways to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality throughout the organization. The CI Data Analyst will be pivotal in advancing continuous improvement efforts and aiding in the accomplishment of strategic goals.

You’ll report to the Continuous Improvement Manager and work onsite from our Jersey City, NJ office. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Reporting & Analysis
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret diverse datasets to derive actionable insights for decision-making and strategic planning.
    • Develop, design and produce standards in cooperation with management and user personnel
    • Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues and factors contributing to performance gaps.
    • Able to create meaningful data visualizations and reports for purposes of process improvement 
    • Develop and maintain key performance indicator (KPI) driven dashboards and metrics to measure process performance and monitor progress towards improvement goals.
    • Generate actionable insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Communication 
    • Comfortable scoping and discussing requirement needs with non-technical audiences.
  • Process Improvement
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, understand processes, and identify areas of inefficiency or waste.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to drive sustainable improvements

Who You Are: 

  • 3 years of experience (5+ years preferred) in business intelligence, analytics, competitive intelligence, or a relevant field
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis, data visualization tools (LightDash or Tableau) and SQL
  • Quantitative, analytical mind set collecting, cleaning and formatting raw data to extract relevant, actionable information for business decision making
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex findings to diverse business audiences.
  • Proven experience in modeling labor performance data and planning tools
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Netsuite 
  • Familiarity with WMS systems such as Korber or High Jump 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Statistics, Industrial Engineering or a related field

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $57,920-$95,000. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set.
