External Affairs works with many external and internal stakeholders to envision and create a world of greater socioeconomic opportunity through advocating for an inclusive society, building thriving communities, and creating financial tools that enrich lives. Our teams include Communications, Community Impact and Investment, Community Finance, CRA Strategy and Program Management, the Government and Political Affairs Group, Regulatory Relations, and Strategy and Engagement. Through our teams, we have unparalleled access to a diverse group of motivated changemakers similarly focused on the ingredients for a more perfect future.

Community Finance's commitment to impact is clear. You will orchestrate a wide array of concurrent work streams spanning people, process, technology, and data, helping our teams stay on track and deliver an ambitious transformation agenda. You will help create leadership visibility into both present and planned activities, unifying numerous stakeholders into a well-managed, sequenced plan, and ensuring that CF's overall change journey is digestible, well understood, and widely supported. You won't do all of these things alone, but you will play an outsized role in shepherding our change journey in the right direction.
This job might be a good fit for you if:

  • Your influence and impact extends beyond the boundaries of your team through leadership without authority
  • You are intellectually curious and energized by learning about a broad range of new subjects including new business and technology areas

  • You excel at communicating and influencing people across management levels and functions
  • You keep calm - and help others do the same - in an environment of competing priorities
  • You enjoy being on a team whose impact is truly greater than the sum of its parts
  • You have a heart for community development and value making people's lives better in a meaningful, lasting way

Responsibilities :

  • Owning the meeting cadence for stand-ups, working group meetings, leadership share-outs, and other meeting structures as needed
  • Developing templates, trackers, resources, and guidance to collect and maintain accurate information on the status of multiple change efforts
  • Helping the team translate goals/strategies into concrete actions and keeping the work on track through milestones/deadlines and reporting
  • Creating and maintaining calendars, roadmaps, dashboards or other mechanisms to transparently share the status work in-flight and the anticipated path forward
  • Aligning team, cross-functional, and project-based efforts into a cohesive, sequenced, and well-understood transformation plan that supports CF's overall objectives

Partner with the Chief of Staff to:

  • Plan and execute effective communications strategies across appropriate channels, ensuring that stakeholders are well prepared for upcoming changes, understand "from/to" shifts, and have access to relevant resources, training, and points of contact
  • Generate excitement and momentum through development of a common change story and the celebration of important milestones/outcomes

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong influencing skills and experience navigating and negotiating through the nuances of a resource-constrained delivery environment
  • Outstanding communication and partnership skills for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, influence and drive outcomes
  • A deep empathy for associates and strong ability to understand and communicate their needs and constraints, limiting negative, disruptive impacts to their work and well being
  • Organizational agility to adapt to changing demands
  • Strong consulting and collaboration skills
  • A growth mindset and curious nature to ask, "what if..."

Basic Qualifications:
